Founded in 1992, our faculty began accepting students in the 1993-1994 academic year. Our faculty offers programs in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, History, Turkish Language and Literature, Art History, Western Languages and Literatures, Eastern Languages and Literatures, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Geography, and Sociology. Our Faculty of Arts and Sciences aims to cultivate individuals who can generate innovative ideas at a universal level, per contemporary and scientific principles, and are committed to contributing to themselves and society. To achieve this goal, we prioritize developing the skills to share the knowledge and experience gained with all stakeholders. To support interdisciplinary studies at our faculty, we offer double major and minor programs that allow undergraduate students with high GPAs to study in two major fields. For those who wish to continue their graduate studies after graduation, master's and doctoral programs are offered within the Institutes of Social Sciences and Sciences of the relevant departments. Our undergraduate students are encouraged to pursue graduate studies and provided with timely guidance. Students who complete pedagogical formation training can teach in the Ministry of National Education and the private sector. At the same time, graduates of applied programs can find employment in the public and private sectors.
